Ways to Give

Throughout December, the Temple community is reaching out to help make the holidays a little brighter for the less fortunate

Toy drive
Dec. 1 through Dec. 12: The Temple Ambler Owl Reach student organization is sponsoring a toy drive to help support the Salvation Army's efforts to bring a happy holiday to families throughout the Philadelphia region. All gifts must be new and unwrapped. For more information, e-mail owlreach@gmail.com or call 484-941-2450.
Location: Ambler Campus, Bright Hall lounge. Pick an ornament from the "Angel Tree." Each ornament includes a child's name, age and desired gift. Take the bottom half of the ornament, purchase the gift, and drop it off on the specified dates.

Holiday children's party
Dec. 10, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: The Department of Campus Safety Services hosts its annual children's party, in which it partners with the local community to shed light on neighborhood children during the holiday season.
Location: Student Center Annex, second floor.

'Operation Feed the Hungry' food campaign

Monetary donations should be made payable to "Operation Feed the Hungry" and forwarded to the Office of Facilities Management, 1009 W. Montgomery Ave. Last year, more than 32,000 meals were provided.  For more information, call Jesse Wagner at 215-204-1385 or Sandi Marrero 215-204-7797.
