Susan B. Dickey, associate professor of nursing in the College of Health Professions, has been appointed chairwoman of the American Nurses Association Advisory Committee for Ethics and Human Rights, a two-year term. She has been a member of the committee since 2000. Dickey specializes in neonatal and pediatric nursing, health policy, ethico-legal aspects of adolescent health care, genetics and assisted reproductive techniques.

Albert I. Wertheimer, professor of pharmacy practice at the School of Pharmacy and director of Temple’s Center for Pharmaceutical Health Services Research, has been appointed to the board of directors at the Lannett Co. Wertheimer is an international authority in pharmacoeconomics and outcomes studies with professional activities that span the globe. The Lannett Co. Inc. manufactures and distributes generic pharmaceuticals.
