Nominations solicited for Conwell, alumni awards
The General Alumni Association is seeking nominations for two of its most visible awards, the Russell H. Conwell Award and the Alumni Distinguished Service Award.
The Russell H. Conwell Award recognizes non-alumni individuals or groups for outstanding service to the University community. The Alumni Distinguished Service Award, the Alumni Association’s highest award, is presented to alumni “who have demonstrated loyalty and commitment to Temple University through their service and contributions to the University community and/or have brought great honor to the University through their professional accomplishments.”
The awards will be presented at the annual Founder’s Dinner, to be held April 2 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Nominations are due by Dec. 3 and should be sent to the Founder’s Dinner Awards Committee, c/o Christine Brady, Mitten Hall, 1913 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19122. Brady can be reached at 215-204-4313 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Each nomination should include a letter of recommendation highlighting the nominee’s contributions to Temple and a biography.
