Students can take advantage of the historical and cultural sites of Philadelphia its proximity to other great cities along the east coast. Take in the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Or, visit Times Square and see a Broadway show in New York City; see the monuments and museums of Washington, DC; or the historical attractions of Boston they are all just a short train ride away. If you prefer nature: visit one of the many nearby National Parks or spend the day on the beach at the Jersey shore!

Intensive English Language Program

Temple University offers the Intensive English Language Program (IELP) in all proficiency levels from elementary to advanced. Classes include writing, reading, speaking, and listening. All classes include instruction in pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. More information about IELP.
