Who is eligible to enroll in the Summer Owls Leadership Experience?
Temple welcomes academically talented and motivated rising high school junior and senior students to the program.

For Parents

What is the extent of supervision participants will receive?
Students will spend their days with other program participants. In most cases, they will be part of a group overseen by college-student mentors and residence-hall staff outside the classroom. During classroom breaks and other non-group times, a buddy system will be implemented.

Are participants allowed to commute to campus?
As the residential experience is an important part of this program, all participants will reside on campus.

About the Application Process

When are applications due?
Apply by March 16, 2015 and receive an "Early Owl" waiver of the $55 program application fee. Applications will continue to be accepted through May 1, 2015, as long as there is room in the program. Apply early!

Information Sessions

We invite students, parents and guidance counselors to join an information session to learn more about summer programs offered for high school students.

Information sessions are held Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., February 18 - April 1, 2015.
