  • *Per university policy, Temple students who are considered “upper division” are charged an additional $100 tuition per semester. “Upper division” is defined as an undergraduate student with a minimum of 60 earned credits, regardless of how obtained. This policy does not affect non-Temple students
  • **The Oman Program Fee of $5,500 is an estimate. This includes shared accommodation at the field house in/near Dhank; shared accommodation in a guest house or hotel in Muscat and in Sohar; all meals except while in Muscat or Sohar; water and snacks while in the field house; in-country program-related transportation; program excursions; internet access (although slow connection speed); and a personal iPad. Please note that, due to the program location, software and file sharing, and the need for comparable operating systems, all students will be required to use the iPad provided by the program; students will keep their iPad after the program.
  • In addition to the items above, students should budget money for local and personal travel, as well as any additional personal expenses.
  • All costs are estimates and should be used as a guideline only.

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT POLICIES

Students admitted to the Oman Semester program must confirm admission with a $200 non-refundable program deposit, as well as a $200 non-refundable housing deposit, within two weeks of acceptance into the program. Both deposits are credited to the student’s account. Temple University invoices students for all remaining program charges, at which point final payment must be made. Financial aid vouchers and/or award letters are the only exceptions to this policy. Students who have been awarded financial aid must present evidence of such awards according to the procedure outlined in the Financial Aid Section of our web site. More information and all payment due dates appear in the pre-departure information provided to students after acceptance.
