What do you do in the Education Abroad?
I work with Temple’s semester and summer programs abroad which includes application review, pre-departure planning, scholarship advising and health and safety concerns.
Where are you from?
Philadelphia, born and raised.
Where did you go to school and what did you study?
I started as a Temple Owl 14 years ago and I never left! I recently earned my MBA from Temple’s Fox School of Business. I also have a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Spanish from Temple.
What countries have you visited?
Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Bermuda, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, France, Germany, England, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Japan, China, India… oh, and Andorra!
What is your most memorable abroad experience?
Any day that I am sitting at a café in Madrid speaking Spanish with my friends, drinking café con leche and people watching. I’ve done that hundreds of times and every single time I couldn’t be happier.
What are your personal interests?
Running and Zumba. I love to travel too! Luckily no matter where I am in the world I always find a place to run and dance.
What is your favorite part of working in Education Abroad?
The people I work with. This office is full of positive energy! We are all so dedicated to study abroad and share in the belief that it truly changes lives. The shared commitment makes this office a great place to work.
