Ryan Conklin
Ryan A. Conklin served in the U.S. Army from September 2003 to November 2006. He was an Infantryman in the 101st Airborne Division and served a year-long tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005-2006. Conklin was Honorably Discharged but was involuntarily recalled in 2008. Conklin served another year in Iraq in 2009. Conklin has worked with several veteran organizations, especially the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. He's the author of An Angel from Hell, which is his personal memoir of his time during his first deployment in Iraq. Conklin is currently a Film and Media Arts major at Temple University.
