Faculty Advisor is responsible for inputting their professional opinion to the activities that the MSA goes about.  They are also accountable for advising, motivating, and most importantly, inspiring the executive board and the general MSA as to how to make the most of their time here at Temple, all while making a difference through patient perseverance. President is responsible for: the general management of all the activities of the MSA, directing and coordinating all the activities so as to achieve the purpose of the of the MSA, calling and presiding over Executive Committee and General Assembly meeting, controlling funds and expenses of the MSA, being the spokesperson, representative and correspondent for the MSA in external activities.
   
Vice-President is responsible for: carrying out the management of the activities in the MSA in absence of the President, directing and coordinating the activities of the campus representatives and committee chairpersons, assisting the President in accomplishing the purpose of the MSA, temporarily assuming the functions of the President upon request or when the President is unable to complete his/her duties, placing and removing chairpersons of committees with the approval of the Executive Board, and maintaining the electronic Listserv of the Temple MSA. Secretary is responsible for: reporting important events and activities at the General Assembly meetings, preparing and circulating the meeting minutes of all the Executive Board and the General Assembly meetings, maintaining the list of volunteers and members for various parts of the MSA, keeping the MSA registered in the state of Pennsylvania and at Temple University, reserving rooms for the MSA, typing any documents needed for the  MSA, and posting bulletins and daily reminders/upcoming events.
   
Treasurer is responsible for: maintaining the records for all financial transactions of the MSA, raising, collecting and depositing all the funds received on behalf of the MSA, countersigning all withdrawal checks on behalf of the MSA, preparing the annual budget with the new Executive Board for the next fiscal year when elected, presenting any changes in finance before the General Assembly since the previous meeting, keeping track of paid members of the MSA and those eligible to vote. Community Service is responsible for handling all matters that deal with the Temple MSA and the surrounding community, whether it be the college community of students, faculty, and staff, or the surrounding Muslim community.  The members of this committee keep track of community events that are going on in the area and keep the MSA updated in terms of what is available for the MSA to participate in.  They also contact other student organizations who are participating in community events for opportunities for MSA to co-sponsor. 
   
Islamic Education Chair is responsible for: organizing weekly halaqas, lectures and workshops, selecting a Khateeb to deliver the Friday Khutbah, contacting local speakers/scholars and inviting them to give lectures. Da'wah is responsible for assisting the MSA in activities which reach out to the community.  Whether it's through our dawah tables or more larger-scale events, this position will help in spreading the message of Islam both on a campus and community level.  
   
Webmaster As you probably have noticed, alhumdulillah the MSA website gets plenty of hits each week. People now actually use the MSA website as a source of reference for the MSA. It took a while, but now the website is visited daily and serves as an outlet where people can find more information about our organization.  The Webmaster is responsible for the maintenance, design, and development of the website as well as updating it to include upcoming events and relevant information. Social Chair is responsible for: assisting the Executive Board with dinners, banquets, and other MSA events, organizing social gatherings and trips for the MSA, keeping close contact with other MSA's to promote unity within the Philadelphia community, devising strategies to welcome others to the MSA.
   
Public Relations Chair is responsible for: preparing flyers, newsletters, and bulletins and presenting them before the Executive Board for approval, working with other organizations on campus to unite the MSA with other groups at Temple University, contact Islamic centers, mosques and other MSA's to arrange events. MSA Representative provides ideas, interests and concerns through a method of self-governance. They aid in organizing and representing the MSA's voice on academic and student life issues. The representative also provides funding and support to student organizations. All plans and initiatives derive from our concentrated effort to enhance the quality of student life and social development.  Lastly the Rep attends senate meetings and village meetings to output our organizations upcoming events.
