 The ADA is a primary sponsor of World Diabetes Day. The ADA recently sponsored the first Step Out for Diabetes Walk on October 4, 2008 to create greater awareness in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The ADA is the largest provider in the world of summer camps for children with diabetes. This summer, 2009, Temple University will be sponsoring children in the Philadelphia area to attend camp. Information and applications will be available on November 14, 2008 during World Diabetes Day events at the Foot and Ankle Institute. |
