[Internship Interviews]

Name- Brooke Holdsworth

Firm you interned with- Ernst & Young

Internship Dates- June- August 2008

Line of Service of Internship- Audit

What were things you did on a day-to-day basis? I went out to different clients, such as CSL (A biopharmaceutical company) and Penn National Gaming, Inc. I helped the teams that I was working with on quarterly reviews and benefit plan audits.

What was your favorite part of the internship? Going to the International Intern Leadership Conference (IILC) in Orlando Florida. There were 1700 interns from around the world there. We got to attend 3 seminars of our choice, participate in a Team Challenge, and go to a Disney Park for the day.

What was your first day like? I wasn’t as nervous as I usually would be in a first day because I knew two other Beta members (Erica Hollenback and Brandon Hohl) that were interning with me.

Do you still keep in contact with people you worked with? Yes, I talk to so many of the interns. It was great being able to connect and make friends with so many people. We had so much fun, and most of us accepted full- time offers. Currently, we are planning a get together in Philadelphia at the end of October.
