	Luv Sodha President My name is Luv Sodha and I am senior Finance and Accounting double major in the Fox School of Business. Currently, I am serving as the president of the Temple University chapter of Ascend. I first became a member half way into my sophomore year after I attended the Greater Philadelphia Chapter annual event. I felt that at Ascend the professionals took a personal interest in me and my career. Ascend has helped me a lot to grow and build my career. In 2011, I won an Ascend national scholarship sponsored by Ernst and Young. It was the first time in my life that I was thrown into the national spotlight. Hence, Ascend has helped me develop personally and has given me the opportunities to shine both at the local and national levels. I have had prior leadership experience while being a student at Temple University. During 2011, I was the Vice President of the Temple University Investment Association and a Fund Manager in the Owl Fund. I believe my skills will help me organize events and help all the members become more active in taking charge of their careers. I interned at Deloitte and Touche over the summer and I will be returning as a full time employee there starting next year. I will be starting in audit, but my long term career goals include getting my MBA and starting my own business some day.
	Daniel Chang Co-Vice President I am a junior graduating on May 2014 with 150 credits. My career goals upon graduation is to work in a globally renowned public accounting firm to gain a breadth and depth of experiences with various industries and colleagues. With my experiences, I hope to focus on being a leader within specific industries and eventually become a business mentor to both business leaders and students alike. I transferred to Temple University during my sophomore year from Bloomsburg University. I first joined ASCEND last year as a sophomore. With no background or knowledge of the business industry, ASCEND has given me the foundation of understanding the accounting industry. I grew tremendously both professionally and personally during my short time at ASCEND. My passion for mentoring others and pride of my Asian heritage inspired me to work alongside ASCEND as the co-vice president at the Temple Chapter. I am excited for the growth of both ASCEND and our members this year!
	Kevin Zou Co-Vice President Kevin Zou previously served as the Internal Affairs Coordinator responsible for maintaining the membership system, ensuring the budget was met, and resolving monetary matters with external parties. He is also currently on the Public Relations team for Temple University's Asian Students Association (TUASA). In addition, he attended the past two National Ascend Conventions, received an Ascend National Corporate Scholarship, participated in KPMG’s Discover Leadership program, and interned at eResearch Technology. He hopes that he will be able to use his experiences help everyone grow as we all continue to connect, inspire, and Ascend.
	Angelina Saputri Treasurer Ascend has helped my transition from community college to Fox business school much easier. More than that, Ascend has helped me to be more professionally developed through its soft-skills building workshops and networking opportunities where I learned to take the steps out of my comfort zone. Ascend has opened doors for me to explore the world of Accounting and to connect with so many great professionals in the field. Most importantly, Ascend helped me to set up my career path and build the necessary skills to achieve my career goals. My mission as a treasurer of Ascend is to help, support and motivate Ascend members during their transformations to become successful professionals with confidence and leadership. 	Jinyoung Gabe Park Secretary I am a sophomore dual majoring in Accounting and Finance. Ever since my freshmen year, I have always been an active member of ASCEND. By attending majority of the information sessions, I was able to gain knowledge which would later be used during my leadership interviews. I successfully landed two leadership opportunities at Elko & Associates and Deloitte thanks to ASCEND's help. Deloitte's opportunity extended to an internship at their local office in Philadelphia during the summer of 2013. The main reason why I chose to become a Secretary was because I wanted to share the knowledge and experience I have gained from my freshman year to the organization's members.
	Dannaly Sam Director of Information Technology I am a senior specializing in the Finance and Political Economy programs. I recently interned during this past summer at Vanguard. Returning to a new school year, I am proud to say that my experience with Ascend has helped me to delve into areas and relations that challenged me to break from my comfort zone. The networks that I have created as a member and officer proves invaluable to my experience as Fox School of Business student and young professional. Dare to break from your mold, as this is the best way to constantly grow!
	Jielin Zhang Fundraising Chair & Ascend Ambassador I am the same as many of you. I transferred to Temple one year ago; this is my senior year. I am taking Accounting major and MIS minor. By join Ascend, I found my career plan thought listening and asking questions to professionals and Ascend officers. Ascend is helping me to build my professional network and coach my career path.
	Mun Khin Chin Internal Affairs Coordinator I am a Junior majoring in Accounting and MIS. As an immigrant and a transfer student, I have encountered many different people across the world with diverse characteristics and cultural backgrounds. This experience has taught me to communicate openly with one another, and as an Internal Officer of Ascend, it has provide me the chance to met and work with many passionate people who shares the same interests with me. They are the one who shows and guide me to the right path to pursue my goal, and their inspiration is the most important resource in moving myself forward to achieve my dream.
	Kaliane Prak Marketing Coordinator I am a junior accounting major. As a new student at the Fox School of Business, I was unsure of whether or not accounting was right for me, but after joining Ascend I realized that I had made the right decision. I am a photographer and love to use my creativity, which is why I decided to apply as Marketing Coordinator for Ascend. Not only does Ascend allow me to apply my creativity, it also helped me with networking skills, public speaking, and time management.
	Kyusang (Kyle) Lee Internal Affairs Coordinator I am currently a sophomore accounting major at Temple University. Upon graduating I hope to take the CPA exams and earn my CPA license. I am interested in becoming a Tax Associate at one of the “Big Four” accounting firms. Becoming an officer at Ascend has helped me develop my soft skills and grow as a person which will definitely help me fulfill my goals and aspirations.
	Anna Choe Alumni Chair Hello! I am the current Alumni Chair. I am a sophomore and majoring in both Accounting and Management Information Systems. For me, my past year in Ascend has really been a great experience for me. It has helped me grow in both professional and social ways. As Alumni Chair, I hope to keep in contact with past Ascend members to help current members grow professionally. I am greatly looking forward to meeting all Ascends members this year!
	Alex Le Co-Events Coordinator I am a junior majoring in MIS and minoring in Finance. In terms of career path, I have recently landed an internship with Ernst & Young under their ITRA Advisory practice, which I will start in Summer 2013. I joined Ascend because of the people and energy that this SPO possess. Being the Co-Events Coordinator, my goals are to continue and enhance the motto "work hard, play hard." I strongly believe that Ascend is the place where students can grow into well-rounded professionals.
	Thuc Hoang Co-Events Coordinator Hello everyone, my name is Thuc Hoang, Fox School senior majoring in Finance. Through attending many events held by Ascend, I realize that Ascend is not only a mean to network with employers, but also a place where I can challenge myself, try new things, and work with other smart and passionate schoolmates.
