We invite you to Ascend Temple University's First Annual Scholarship and Awards Banquet. Join us for a night of celebration in an audience of 75+ students, alumni, and professionals. At the event we will be honoring our scholarship and award winners. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to network with recruiters and professionals from the Big Four accounting firms, national accounting firms, regional accounting firms, and much more! Please feel free to bring your family and friends for this milestone event.
Registration and payment deadline for 30 membership points: April 6th, 2012 5 P.M. You can pay after our Ascend meeting tomorrow, or arrange a time with Susan Wong or Jenn Tsui to pay for your banquet ticket. Your ticket will cover a three-course meal and priceless evening with Ascend!

Wednesday, April 4th, 2012: Ascend Social Meeting!
Next week, Ascend will be having its final social of the semester! Thank you to everyone who helped fill out the second social survey. We have a lot of great games planned for everyone to have a blast! Please come out, meet fellow members, and have great laughs! We will be giving out prizes. Free food and drinks will be provided. Friday, March 30th, 2012: RELAY FOR LIFE COMMUNITY SERVICE EVENT
Relay for Life is a non-profit organization that holds life-changing events to help aid those affected by cancer. It helps raise funds to fight back the disease. Let's unite to celebrate the cause. It'll be a night of fun and activities.Members will receive 15 points for registering, and 25 points for attending the event.

Wednesday, February 8th, 2012: Ascend Workshop Series - Introductions and Resume Essentials We are excited to announce our first workshop of our workshop series! Please join us to improve your business skills!.During this workshop, we will discuss how to do proper introductions and discuss resume essentials. Resume essentials will include: what accounting and finance firms look for in a resume and tips for boosting your resume.
We will also be offering quick resume critiques at the end of the session. Please bring your current resumes and indicate, with a pencil or pen, whether or not you are CSPD'd.

PwC Campus Recruiter Maggie McDowell will be present to talk about PwC's eXplore Program, Summer Leadership Program, and Semester of Discovery Internship (SDI). All are great opportunities for students to get into the PwC pipeline to a client service (audit/tax) internship that can translate into a full-time job offer! Discover what PwC can do for you.
