If you have been forced to have sex against your will, contact campus police at 1-1234.
Care will be provided at the emergency room of the Episcopal campus of Temple University Health System. Episcopal’s emergency department has specially trained staff to provide evaluation, evidence collection, treatment, counseling and referral for persons of who have been forced to have sex against their will.
If you decline emergency room care, Student Health Services can provide you with counseling, emergency contraception, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections. Student Health, however, is unable to provide a “rape examination” intended to collect evidence for use during any future legal action resulting from a sexual assault.
The Tuttleman Counseling Center provides counseling and assistance to persons who have been forced to have sex against their will through the Sexual Assault Counseling and Education (SACE) program. Visit their web site for information on SACE and related programs.
