Confidentiality

Students often ask if parents can find out if care has been sought for a gynecology issue, sexually transmitted infection testing or birth control at Student Health Services.  Your medical information is confidential and cannot be released to others without your permission. 

However, if you use an insurance policy that is in a parent’s name, the insurance company may send billing information to your place of permanent residence.
