Currently enrolled students who have paid the University Services Fee are eligible to be seen at Student Health Services. When you enroll at Temple University, you pay a University Services Fee each semester. This fee entitles you to use the services of Student Health Services. The fee covers most, but not all of your routine and acute care visits.
NOTE: Students who have graduated and are no longer enrolled at Temple University are NOT eligible.
There are additional charges for:
- Gynecology services that are NOT part of the Title X Family Planning Program
- Medications
- Lab tests
- Administrative physical exams (such as those for work or drivers' licenses)
- Certain procedures
- Supplies
PLEASE NOTE: The University Services Fee is NOT "Health Insurance." Health insurance covers you for many services we do not provide at Student Health Services. For example, if you need to go to the emergency room or see a specialist, you would need Health Insurance. Some insurance plans also have prescription coverage that covers a portion of your medication costs.
