The Howard Gittis Student Center serves the Temple community as a hub of campus activity and central location for a variety of campus services.  We provide an inviting, accessible, vibrant facility designed primarily for our students but also for faculty, staff, visitors, alumni and friends of Temple University.

In 2008 we were renamed the "Howard Gittis Student Center" as an honor of the long standing Board of trustee's member and president.  It is exciting for us to have a new identity to share with the campus and we hope you take time to stop by and visit the Center. Since the latest installment of renovations, the facility has become enormously popular as a place for students to meet, eat, work and program.  We have student and professional staff managing the building and we encourage you to share in your "home away from home" on campus.

Some of the many programs and services available to you at the Student Center include:

Valaida S. Walker Food Court Barnes and Noble Bookstore
The Information Center Penna Fed. Credit Union
The Game Room The UPS Store
The "Reel" Cinema
The Graphics Media Center The Student Activities Office
Temple Student Government The Dean of Students Office

We also have a variety of lounges with large screen TV's, excellent study areas with soft furniture and a host of rooms for you and your group to meet and work. The majority of the building provides wireless connectivity for Temple students, faculty and staff.

Take time to visit your Student Center and be a part of something special. The staff is here to help and encourage you to contact us with questions, for more information and with any feedback you may have about our programs and services.
