Click here for our calendar of events to learn of the many programs occurring throughout the academic year. leadership diamond points systemTo track attendance and provide incentives for students to continue to participate in programs that focus on diverse leadership competencies in a variety of formats, the program operates on a “Leadership Diamond Points System” whereby students earn points for participating in its programs. In addition to attendance at Student Leadership Challenge events, students can earn Leadership Diamond Points for completing academic courses related to leadership and participating in leadership experiences outside of its programs. Overall, the various Student Leadership Challenge opportunities focus on personal development, skill building, problem solving, intercultural issues, and exposure to diverse leadership perspectives centered in Philadelphia and global contexts. The Diamond Leaders program is an opportunity available to those students that have demonstrated a commitment to developing their leadership potential and putting those talents in to action. To become eligible for application to the Diamond Leaders program, you must acquire 50 Leadership Diamond Points by participating in programs offered through the Temple University Student Leadership Challenge and meet the rest of the application requirements.
