The Office of Leadership Development offers students on campus opportunities to attend and present at professional conferences. For more information about each and/or to register, please visit the specific conference pages through the links below. We encourage you to save the dates on your calendar and register as soon as registration opens as both events typically reach capacity prior to the end of the registration period.


Fall Conference

Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 10am in Mitten Hall

The first step in becoming a better leader is to explore your leadership style. Join us for an interactive and engaging day of small and large group activities. Increase your personal and professional network, learn essential skills to build your leadership toolbox, and have fun with Temple alumni, staff and students. Explore your leadership style and how you can improve your skills. Free and open to all Temple University students. Breakfast and lunch provided for all participants. Free t-shirt for all students in attendance.

Spring Conference

Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10am

Temple University will host the one-day conference for higher education professionals and students in the greater Philadelphia region for the Inclusive Leadership Conference. A limited number of sessions will be provided this year for professional staff in attendance (advisors, student affairs staff, faculty, etc.). The schedule includes a large-group keynote address, followed by presentations, workshops, dialogues, and panels on varying topics of inclusive leadership and social change. The cost is minimal and largely subsidized by the leadership department, University Housing and Residential Life, and Campus Philly.
