Inclusive Leadership Conference

Temple University hosts a one-day conference for higher education professionals and students in the greater Philadelphia region, titled the Inclusive Leadership Conference. The schedule includes a large-group keynote address, followed by presentations, workshops, dialogues, and panels on varying topics of inclusive leadership and social change. The cost is minimal and largely subsidized by the leadership department, University Housing and Residential Life, and Campus Philly.

Light breakfast and lunch will be provided to all in attendance.

This year’s conference will focus on the journey from student leader to civic leader, kicking off with a keynote address from nationally recognized leadership and diversity educator, Dr. Tom Segar. The session topics include a presenter's experience running marathons across the country, the academic perspective of inclusivity in teh 21st century, and presentations from international corporations (Deloitte and Vanguard).

Note: There is no inclement weather date scheduled for the conference. If the city declares a State of Emergency and/or Temple University cancels operations for the intended date, the event will also be cancelled. Notification of cancellation will be sent to all presenters and registered attendees through email correspondence and posted to the Office of Leadership Development and Campus Philly websites.
