Leadership Studies Academy
In recognition of the important link between leadership and academics, the Leadership Studies Academy allows students from across disciplines to take courses based in their areas of interest while earning up to 15 Leadership Diamond Points for taking existing academic courses that are relevant to issues, ideals, and values connected to leadership. Students can pick their own courses or survey a sampling of highlighted courses.
In order to receive points for a class, students must:
- Complete a Leadership Studies Academy Synopsis Cover Sheet and write a one-page essay discussing how the course enhanced your leadership knowledge.
- E-mail the Synopsis Cover Sheet, essay, and copy of the course syllabus to an Academy Coach (see coaches listed below). Schedule a time to meet with your coach to discuss your course.
- Attend a 30-minute Academy Coaching session
