Diamond Leaders Application Process

We recruit our Diamond Leaders annually to enter together as a cohort. Therefore, the program is open to students who have at least two semesters left at Temple University before graduating. Please note that there is no longer a GPA requirement to apply.

Diamond Leader 2012 Application Process Includes:

Earning 50+ Leadership Diamond Points and submitting an application packet by March29, 2013, which includes:

  1. Cover Letter
  2. Resume
  3. Letter of Reference
  4. Graduation date of May 2013 or later

Once selected as a Diamond Leader, each student must meet the following minimum requirements to ensure active engagement:

  • Participation in one of our three “Lead Teams,” or committees focused on service, peer facilitation, and developmental programming
  • Participation in at least two Diamond Leader events
  • Participation in at least two career development events offered at Temple University

Students who stay active through the time of graduation will receive the Diamond Leaders Certificate and Medallion, serving as a mark of distinction to the Temple community, employers and graduate school admissions committees.
