Diamond Leaders Application Process
Becoming a Diamond Leader requires a rigorous application process, and is only open to students who have at least two semesters left at Temple University before graduating (i.e. expected graduation date from Temple in May 2011 or later).
Applications are due March 1, 2010
Diamond Leaders will be inducted at our ceremony on May 4, 2010.

50+ Earned Leadership Diamond Points

Submission of a cover letter (including reference to how you earned your 50+ Leadership Diamond Points through the Student Leadership Challenge programs)

Resume

Two letters of recommendation (with one from a Temple faculty member)

Cumulative GPA of 3.33
-
An interview arranged during the month of March 2010
- Expected date for graduation (NOTE: In order to have time to complete the minimum requirements to earn a Diamond Leaders Certificate at graduation applicants must have an expected graduation date of May 2011 or later - either undergraduate or graduate degree)
Once selected as a Diamond Leader, each student must meet minimum requirements to ensure active engagement. Students who stay active through the time of graduation will receive the Diamond Leaders Certificate; this will serve as a mark of distinction to the Temple community, employers and graduate school admissions committees. The office will then create opportunities for Diamond Leader alumni to return to campus and serve as mentors and coaches to current Diamond Leaders.
