Housing Selection Process Policies
COMPLETING YOUR HOUSING LICENSE & DINING SERVICES AGREEMENT ELECTRONICALLY
To ensure that your request for University Housing for Fall 2009 - Spring 2010 is considered, you are required to log onto the MyHousing website in order to complete your Housing & Meal Plan Application. Students will use the Student Web Self-Assign system to self-book their desired room accommodations and meal plans.
REVIEWING THE TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE HOUSING LICENSE and DINING SERVICES AGREEMENT
Students will be first prompted to review all of the Terms and Conditions of the Undergraduate Housing License & Dining Services Agreement. It is important that you read all sections of the Housing License & Dining Services Agreement. This agreement is listed on the "Forms Page" prior to entering the Student Web Self-Assign system.
By continuing with the electronic submission of your Housing & Meal Plan Application, you are entering into a legally binding contract. It is important to note that similar to OWLnet, the MyHousing website has a security “time out” feature if idle. Should students log on and get timed out of the session, they will need to log back in and start the process over from the beginning.
MEDICAL ACCOMMODATIONS
Those students who have been approved for an accommodation through the Office of Disability Resource Services will be mannually assigned housing during the Housing Selection Process following their official recommendations. Students are required to submit the Medical Accommodations Request Form and complete their housing application in accordance to the deadlines posted.
To confirm that you are approved for medical accommodations, please contact the Office of Disability Resource Services at (215) 204-1280. Students requesting medical accommodations will have the option of adding roommates to fill their unit (if applicable).
BREAK HOUSING
Students who anticipate a need for housing during any of the break periods for the fall 2009 – spring 2010 academic year (Thanksgiving, Winter, or Spring Break) must secure an assignment at “1300” Apartments or The Edge, the buildings opened during these break periods. Arrangements for Occupancy Extensions will be made with University Housing prior to each break period. Visit the University Housing & Residential Life web site for more details.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Students who participate and select a room during the Housing Selection Process are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Undergraduate Housing License. Please review the Terms and Conditions of the Housing License & Dining Services Agreement for these details.
