Off Campus Students seeking housing in the Yorktown Communty
The Yorktown Community under a City Ordinance, prohibits Temple students from renting a property unless the owner is the primary resident. You can only live there as a tenant if the owner lives there with you. If the landlord rents the entire house, he is in violation of the ordinance which could pose a fine as penalty, but it is the student who may face possible eviction.
