The Red Lounge Internship

Position: Internship
Location: HEART
Campus: Main Campus
HEART is seeking a junior or senior Public Health major looking to fulfill internship requirements. Interns here are designate event assignments. This particular intern will be assigned The Red Lounge.  This event is an annual HIV/AIDS awareness event that educates about the disease through speakers, presentations, advocates for the cause in combination with performances and entertainment segments. This intern would work closely with the Programming Committee to plan and coordinate all aspects of this event which takes place every December.

Healthy Sleep Campaign Intern

Location: HEART
Campus: Main Campus
HEART is seeking a junior or senior Public Health major looking to fulfill internship requirements. Interns here are designate event assignments. This particular intern will be assigned Healthy Sleep Campaign.  This event is a year long campaign geared towards creative methods of educating college students on the importance of sleep as a part of their everyday lives. This individual would coordinate all programs across campus that enforce this campaign and must willing to research and creatively apply information to this new program.

Love Your Body Intern

Position: Internship
Location: HEART
Campus: Main Campus
HEART is seeking a junior or senior Public Health major looking to fulfill internship requirements. Interns here are designate event assignments. This particular intern will be assigned the Love Your Body event dedicated to the nationally recognized “Love your Body Day.” It is geared towards promoting positive body image in young adults, regardless of size. HEART plans to have a fashion dedicated to the cause. This intern would be responsible for planning and coordinating this event. Responsibilities include contacting models, designers, working with student activities as well as the Programming Committee.
