Returning peers must have the following to be considered for paid positions with the new combined Peer Education program for 08-09:

Why are you applying to be a peer health educator? What do you hope to achieve as a peer educator?*

Describe any prior public speaking experiences.*

Describe your experience and knowledge with the topics/issues addressed by this peer health education program.*

How do you think your decisions and experiences around drugs and alcohol might affect your credibility as a peer educator?*

Are there any topics that are extremely uncomfortable for you to discuss?*

This program calls for a 45 hour commitment per semester outside of class and at least a 10 hour commitment per week after the class ends. In addition there is a mandatory meeting every Wednesday from 3:30-4:30. Are these time commitments you can make?*
