Departmental Objectives

In 2006, the Strategic Planning Process was introduced to all departments in the Division of Student Affairs.  Directors received training and instructions on how to write SMART objectives.  This process is used to provide periodic feedback and support individual performance evaluations.

The Monthly Goals and Objectives template is the working document for all departments to submit and report on progress toward objectives.  The template includes sections for:

  1. Department name

  2. Reporting month

  3. Reporting year

  4. Goal

  5. Objective

  6. Progress notes

  7. Status (complete or incomplete)
