Prospective Players

The Temple Ice Hockey Club is a competitive ACHA Division II team. Since the Fall of 2005, the Ice Hockey Club has competed as a member of the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA). They have earned the title of DVCHC Champions in 1990, 2003, 2004, and 2005. Home games and practices are played in the Polonia Bank Flyers Skate Zone in Northeast Philadelphia.

Tryouts for the Ice Hockey Club are held at the beginning of the Fall semester, by which the team is determined for the year.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many games does the team play in a season?
Usually about 25 games per year. This includes 18 conference games, conference playoffs, non-conference games and tournaments.

How often does the team practice?
Currently, the team practices on Monday and Wednesday nights at the Northeast Skatezone in Philadelphia @ 9:30 pm

Is there any experience needed to play?
The ice hockey club is not a recreational activity for beginners. Experience is needed in order to play
