Employee Summer League

Come out and play! Starting June 25th Campus Recreation will be offering basketball on Wednesdays and volleyball on Thursdays from 12-1pm at the 3rd floor courts in Pearson and McGonigle halls for all faculty/staff (Non-Student). If you have a team GREAT...If not do not worry we will will place you on a team. Registration is now open and to register contact the Intramural Coordinator Ray DeStephanis via soccer@temple.edu or (215) 204-6919.

 

Semester Registration and Free Agents

The intramural program is available to Temple students, staff, and faculty who have paid the recreational fee. Participation in the intramural program is a privilege and thus is governed by certain sportsmanship guidelines. Specific activities are conducted within a sportsmanship rating system, while all activities are bound to a code of conduct conducive to fairness and positive interaction. Please read the Intramural Handbook before participating.

 

The Intramural Department is proud to introduce our new intramural sport scheduling software "IMleagues"

IMleagues is a site colleges across the country are using to completely run their intramural leagues. This site offers every tool needed to run an intramural league, from online sign up to complete scheduling. The site also brings our intramural leagues to life with photos, team logos/colors, stat tracking, live standing and social media interaction.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

To register on imleagues please see directions below:

I want to create an imleagues account how do I do it? (Everyone must complete this step first)

Follow ALL steps listed below:

Register first by creating an account at www.imleagues.com

  • Select "Create Account" button.
  • Fill in all the necessary content fields with the correct information.
  • Create an account using your Temple Access account username/password.

I want to register my team, what's the process?

Complete “Team” Registration Process by doing the following:

  • After you create your personal account login into http://www.imleagues.com/temple and select “Register” in the upper right hand corner and choose “Create Team”.
  • Select the sport you would like to sign up for, click “Create Team” (Orange Button).
  • Take the General Policies and Procedures Quiz and successfully pass with a score of 80% or better in order to participate in any intramural sport.
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions of the “Release of Liability” form.
  • Enter your team information in the necessary fields and submit created team.
  • Select any days of conflict you may have on a weekly basis (If you have no conflicts times DON’T check any times off).
    1. Conflict days are limited depending on the sport.
  • Attend the scheduled captain's meeting held in the instructional room on the 3rd floor of Pearson/McGonigle Halls room 304A.
  • Review the Intramural Registration Schedule to ensure you don't miss the captain's meeting.
  • Have the captain, co-captain or team representative (someone from the team) attend the mandatory captain’s meeting.
  • Pay the $60 registration fee ($30 for Volleyball) at the Campus Recreation Department Main Office and keep a copy of the forfeit registration receipt. Please make sure to print a copy of your team page to show proof you have registered your team for a sport, this paper must be presented at the time of payment or payment will be denied.

 

I don't have a team but I want to play (free agent), what do I do?

Free Agent is when a participant wants to play intramurals but does not have a team

Free Agents MUST create an account to play in any intramural sport

  • After you create your personal account login into http://www.imleagues.com/temple and select “Register” in the upper right hand corner and choose “Join As Free Agent”.
  • Select the sport you would like to sign up to participate in.
  • Select Team you would like to join.
  • Take the General Policies and Procedures Quiz and successfully pass with a score of 80% or better in order to participate in any intramural sport.
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions of the “Release of Liability” form.
  • Wait to hear back from the team captain in regards to joining the team either
    • A team can request you to come participate on their team or
    • A team can accept or deny your request to participate on their team or
    • The intramural program will create a free agent team or put you on a team in your sport(s) of interest.

 

 

All free agents and team captains must attend one of the captain's meetings for each sport they are registered for. Times and locations of all captain's meetings are available on the Intramural Registration Schedule.

Intramural Participant Feedback

If you need to fill out a report as a result of a problem or conflict at an Intramural contest, please complete a Participant Report and return it to the Intramural Office.
