Fraternity brothers pitch in to ease the hurt of homelessness
Relay for Life 2010 A team of five members of the Division of Student Affairs walked through the night in this year's Relay for Life at Temple University. Captain Tom Johnson led his colleagues from University Housing and Residential Life Jim Poole, Katie Schaffer and Will Fenton and Chris Carey from Student Activities in the American Cancer Society's annual fundraising event. They represented the Division well, raising over $1,800. The amount was the third largest amount raised by a team. All 5 members were in the top 100 individual fundraiser. In addition, they were the last team standing at 4:30am!
Donations can still be made on the team’s behalf by going to donate. Otherwise, feel free to join the team in person or through donations in 2011! |
