Elizabeth Housholder Elizabeth Housholder came to Temple University in May 2008 as the first program director for Leadership Development. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the Office of Leadership Development. Liz also teaches leadership courses as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Strategic Communication. Prior to her arrival at Temple, Liz served as the student leadership graduate assistant within the Office of Student Activities and Leadership at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Liz also interned at Miami University’s Cliff Alexander Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and Leadership and at Xavier University’s Office of Student Involvement while living in Oxford. Prior to entering the field of student affairs in higher education, Liz served as the associate editor of Greater Fort Wayne Family magazine and the research coordinator for Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly newspaper. Liz earned her Master of Science degree in College Student Personnel in 2008 from Miami University, with emphases in student development theory and higher education administration. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree (magna cum laude) in 2004 from Hanover College where she majored sociology and studied abroad for six months in Leuven, Belgium. Liz is a member of the International Leadership Association, the National Clearinghouse for Leadership Programs, and the National Association for Student Personnel Administrators. |
