X-Ray Photoelectron

Spectroscopy (XPS)

The Strongin lab houses an ultra high vacuum chamber optimized for analytical XPS.  The system is equipped with both Magnesium (1253.6 eV) and Aluminum (1486.7 eV) X-ray sources and a 100 mm hemispherical electron energy analyzer.   Resolution of 1 eV is obtainable on this system.
