AssistantshipsThe School of Communications and Theater has a limited number of graduate assistantships for outstanding MS students. These assistantships include a stipend plus tuition remission for up to nine credit hours of coursework each semester, and generally require 20 hours per week of service or teaching assistance to a department. An application must by submitted by March 15 to the School of Communications and Theater. The awards are made by April. Federal Stafford LoansLoans are available to students enrolled for at least half time (5 credits) per semester. Applications are available at local banks, credit unions, or other lending institutions. Federal Work StudyThe FWS program at Temple is designed to provide part-time employment for students who demonstrate financial need based on federal calculations and require employment income to pursue their education. Students employed under FWS may work for the university or other public, private, nonprofit organizations or agencies.
