The Department of Strategic and Organizational Communication (StOC) educates students in public communication, public relations, and organizational leadership. We provide students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience necessary to assume communication and leadership roles in a variety of organizational settings.

• StOC offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with three distinct, yet integrated, department concentrations: Public Communication, Public Relations, and Organizational Leadership.

• StOC provides a Master of Science (MS) in Communication Management.This is a professionally oriented degree offering students advanced skills to apply strategic communication as part of the leadership team.

• StOC faculty members also participate in the School’s doctoral program, which offers a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in Mass Media & Communication.
