Depositing Data
SSDL encourages faculty and graduate students who have collected quantitative data likely to be of interest to other researchers to explore depositing these data with its staff. Aside from the collective benefit of making data available to others for further research, deposition frees the original researcher from having to worry about its proper storage and the need to constantly consult with users. SSDL recognizes that researchers who have spent much time and energy collecting data wish to exploit it before making it accessible to others and can hold data under a schedule of restrictions.
Please contact a data librarian to discuss arrangements to store your data at the SSDL.
