The Multilingual Business and Government Studies Program prepares students for business careers, as administrators or executives, or as translators and interpreters in the areas of import/export, international sales and marketing, banking, finance, and law; as well as for administrative and technical positions in government agencies concerned with foreign trade or diplomacy. Besides the broad general education obtained through the Bachelor's Degree curriculum and the specialization contained in the major field of concentration, holders of the Certificate receive an intensive specialized training in five interrelated areas: Spanish language, Business Spanish and Translation Skills, Economics and Business Administration, Political Science, and Latin American Studies.

A cumulative university average of 2.80 must be maintained. A maximum of 20 hours of transfer equivalency will be accepted.
