During the Winter Break in January, SUMMA went down to New Orleans.
We went there with the plan of helping out with the rebuilding efforts.
We worked with Common Ground Relief in the Lower Ninth Ward, the first non-profit set up to help the reconstruction of the city.

We also worked with Project Greenlight New Orleans by distributing and installing free compact fluorescent light bulbs to low income residents throughout the city.
We volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and helped to construct new affordable homes for low income residents.
