About Us

The Office of Student Services & Advising in the School of Social Adminsitration guides students from new student orientation through graduation to ensure that they complete all degree requirements and work to their fullest potential. Faculty advisors use their knowledge of departmental curriculum to help students choose courses consistent with their specific career objectives.

Services

Student Services and Admissions actively provides various undergraduate and graduate student services in the School of Social Work. These services include:

  1. Graduate admissions and advising
  2. Undergraduate advising
  3. Recruitment
  4. Retention
  5. Eligibility reviews
  6. Graduation reviews for all students in SSW who are approaching graduation
  7. Graduation clearances for all graduating SSW students
  8. Planning and implementation of undergraduate and graduate diploma ceremonies
  9. Graduate record keeping and academic actions (academic warning, academic probation, dismissals and re-admission into the college)

The Office of Student Services & Admission also coordinates activities across campuses regarding information sessions, open houses, career and employment opportunities.
