Overview:

A proud alumnus of the School of Social Administration (SSA), Gladys was honored to join SSA in the Office of Admissions and Student Services. She is excited about her role in the recruitment of students for the Master of Social Work Program. She views this as a great opportunity to meet diverse people and help guide them through a valuable experience to enhance their career goals. Also, interacting with prospective students strengthens her appreciation for social work, a profession that she endears.

Gladys has been fortunate in her career to gain skills and experience working in various non-profit and educational settings on a national and international basis. She collaborates with renowned researchers in the areas of HIV/AIDS risk reduction, and other issues related to health disparities. To promote passion of healthy living, she serves on a community board and participates in other volunteer activities. Her expertise also includes the evaluation of programs related to out of school youth in an effort to incorporate best practices in providing quality services.
