SSA faculty member, Dr. Mary Bricker-Jenkins’s book chapter "The movement to end poverty in the United States" was published in Howard-Hassman, Rhoda E., & Welch, Claude E., Jr. (Eds.)’s Economic Rights in Canada and the United States, University of Pennsylvania Press, 2006.

TUH-SSA Institute Wins Major Grants for Elder-Care Services

The Pennsylvania Department of Aging has awarded two significant grants to the Institute on Protective Services, a division of SSA based at Temple Harrisburg. The grants, each three-year awards, total more than $750,000 combined with an option to renew for an additional two years. SSA Research Associate Professor Ronald W. Costen, PhD, Esq, is director of the Institute and primary investigator for each grant.

Given below are the School of Social Administration´s processes and standards for the implementation of the contract provision in Article 15 A (6) agreed upon between Temple University and TAUP with regard to the initial appointment, reappointment, multi-year appointments, regular review and promotion of Full-Time, Non-Tenure Track Research Faculty (hereinafter called research faculty).

Any provision of these guidelines found to be in conflict or otherwise out of compliance with either Temple University policy or the Temple University- TAUP contract will be superseded by the pertinent Temple University policy or TAUP contract provision.
