Zibalese-Crawford, Marsha 2008-2013 Principal Investigator, Drug Free Communities Project Evaluation. Funded by the Office of National Drug Control Policy.

Karin M Eyrich-Garg was awarded a Temple University Interdisciplinary Seed Grant by the Provost for the 2008-2009 year. Karin will be working with Dr. David Bartelt in Geography and Urban Studies and the Office of Supportive Housing. Entitled, “Spatial Components of Homelessness: Etiology, Supports, and Outcomes.”

Dr. Larry Icard has been awarded a 2-year grant from the Center for Disease Control to investigate the effectiveness of an HIV risk reduction intervention. Co-Investigators include Dr. Karin Garg, Dr. Scott Rutledge, and Dr. Mark Schmitz.

Marsha Zibalese-Crawford has received the following grant award as the PI: PATCH and EPIC Evaluation, Philadelphia Department of Human Services.

TUH-SSW Institute Wins Major Grant for Elder-Care Services
The Pennsylvania Department of Aging has awarded two significant grants to the Institute on Protective Services, a division of SSW based at Temple Harrisburg. The grants, each three-year awards, total more than $750,000 combined with an option to renew for an additional two years. SSW Research Associate Professor Ronald W. Costen, PhD, Esq, is director of the Institute and primary investigator for each grant.
