The members of the National Podiatric Medical Association (NMPA) gives out thousands of dollars to members of SNPMA annually at the national convention to celebrate the accomplishment of individual students.

Requirements for consideration:
" Must be currently enrolled in one of the seven schools of Podiatric Medicine
" Must be current due paying member of SNPMA
" Deadline for all scholarships is febraury 15, 2003

Herb Jackson award $500
Guidelines:
" SNPMA members who have participated in at least 50% of all local functions and community projects
" All applicants must submit a CV with a cover letter stating their intentions

Raymond E, Lee Award $1000
Guidelines:
" SNPMA members who have a minimum 3.0 GPA
" In an event where more than one member meets this criteria, participation in at least 50% of all local functions and community projets will also be used as a deciding factor
" Applicants must submit CV with a cover letterstating their intentions

Ben Clark Merit Awards $1000
Guidelines:
" Paper must be a topic relevant to podiatry research and resulting paper must be completed in it's entirety by the applicant
" Paper must include the following
-abstract
-introduction
-either a bibliography or footnotes
-citing references
" Previos recipients for the merit scholarship are not eligible for consideration
