Attendance: Jane Evans (Chair), Lois Millner (Vice Chair), Ira Shapiro (STHM), Luke Kahlich (BCMD), Diane Maleson (Law), Alan Stark (Dentistry), Sally Harrison (Tyler), David Baron (Med), Bonnie Averbach (SBM), Judy Goode (CLA), Paul LaFollette (CST)
1. Call to Order:
The meeting was called to order at 1:10 PM.
2. Approval of Minutes:
The minutes from April 18 were approved.
3. President's Report:
Evans reports that she has begun conversing with Dr. Hart. Dr. Hart has asked Dr. Evans to begin a process of identifying faculty who can participate in a search for a provost. CATA will meed next week to discuss this.
4. Vice-President's Report:
After brief discussion, it was decided to wait until Fall to appoint members to non-elected Senate committees.
5. Old Business:
The remainder of the meeting was spent editing the "position papers" that we shall share with the new University President.
6. New Business:
There was no new business.
7. Adjournment:
The meeting was adjouned at 1:47 PM.
