Graduation Ceremony Information
The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday, February 5, 2010, in
McGonigle Hall at 1:00 p.m.
Further logistical information will be posted on this website at the end of November.

Apply for Graduation
For August 2009 and January 2010 Graduates:
The deadline for graduation application is October 15, 2009.
For May 2010 Graduates:
The deadline for graduation application is February 15, 2010
How to apply for graduation
- Fill out an online application at: https://survey.temple.edu/gradapp
- Schedule your official graduation application/review with your academic advisor.
- Pay your $54.00 graduation fee online at TUpay. The Bursar’s Office no longer accepts in-person payments of this fee.
- Meet with your advisor for official graduation application/review, as scheduled.
Students who fail to meet their deadlines to apply for graduation will be charged an additional $25.00 fee. So don’t miss it!

What should I do if I plan to graduate in January 2010?
You must complete an online graduation application at the following website: https:/survey.temple.edu/gradapp/. The Bursar is no longer accepting in person payments for the graduation fee. You must pay the $54.00 fee online at TUpay.
Make sure your name is spelled correctly on the application, as this is how it will appear on the diploma. Make sure that your permanent address is correct in order to receive your diploma. Diplomas will be mailed out approximately six weeks after the graduation ceremony.
When should I apply for graduation?
Although the October 15, 2009 deadline is the final day to submit your application, you should see your academic advisor when you have completed ninety credits so that we can check your final semester(s) and verify your graduation status, and notify you if we see you are still missing requirements.
What if I applied for a previous graduation and have already paid my graduation fee?
If you have already paid the graduation fee, you do not need to pay the fee again, but you must complete the January 2010 graduation application. Please note that diplomas will only be ordered for students who have paid the fee and submitted their applications before the deadline.
What if I will not have completed my requirements by the end of the Fall 2010?
If you do not plan to graduate in January 2010, please come in to the Academic Advising Center to complete a graduation date change form, so we can update your records.
