New Media Interdisciplinary Concentration -Open to majors in the School of Communications and Theater only.


 

 

New Media Interdiscilpinary Concentration - NMIC

General Requirements:

  • All classes must be passed with a minimum grade of C.
  • All course prerequisites as listed in the course description book must be met unless waived by the professor.
  • Courses taken in the student's major may be used to satisfy both the major and the NMIC requirements.
  • At least one of the student selected courses must be taken outside of the student's major.
  • Students must take at least two of their selected courses at the 200 or 300 level.
  • Students may also take approved new media courses offered through Tyler, Music and CST.
  • Students may petition the co-directors of NMIC to count other relevant courses towards the concentration.

NMIC 0002 - Interdisciplanary New Media Production
NMIC 0301 - New Media Colloquium
NMIC 0302 - New Media Synthesis

And THREE courses of the following disciplines:
