Campus Media
Students come to Temple not just to take courses in journalism, but to practice journalism. Our students hold staff positions at student media outlets like The Temple News and Temple Update, and take Internships at WRTI, Temple's award-winning NPR station.
The Temple News
The award-winning Temple News reaches all 40,000 students, faculty and staff of Temple University. Many Journalism majors write, edit and hold other jobs at the independent paper.
Temple Update

Temple Update gives Temple students the opportunity to gain news gathering experience during their college years. Alums of Temple Update are working all across the United States. Whether working in front of the camera...behind the scenes...in news, sales, public relations, or in any other field of work, we are very proud of the people who have passed through the Temple Update newsroom.
WRTI 90.1 FM
Many Journalism students get internships at Temple's listener-supported, award-winning NPR radio station.
WHIP Student Radio
WHIP is Temple University's student-run radio station, and lives to express the voice and diversity of the students. Now back on the map with a new studio in the Tech Center, WHIP will soon be broadcasting worldwide over the Internet.
