Alumni and Friends

The Alumni are the past and future of this Program. More and more of our "Comm alums" are eager and willing to return to campus to find out what has been happening at their alma mater.

Our alumni are proof of the power of the Program and Temple's impact on the community. Alumni from the School of Communications and Theater (SCT) have such varied positions as CEOs, media personalities, and educators-- among many other positions.

Temple itself has over 100,000 alumni still residing throughout the Philadelphia area. With our campuses situated throughout the world, alumni gatherings and events are occurring in any number of venues. Our SCT Alumni Association will be happy to fill you in on all exciting events for you and your family.

One of the nicest moments is seeing the torch of a Temple education pass to a new generation. Seeing the continuation of SCT legacies (children of Temple alumni attending their parent's alma mater) is indeed a very special occasion. Please feel free to visit us and find out more about "whatever happened to that one special prof" or merely to walk with your family through a bit of nostalgia.

Maybe you would like to come speak to a group of incoming students about how to succeed at Temple? Maybe you have a presentation for graduating seniors about your corporation, or perhaps an idea for an internship or event.

Alternatively, please contact Dr. Gratson, the Communications Program Director, either by telephone at 215 204 6434 or via email at sgratson@temple.edu

Please stop in; we would love to chat and catch up on your post-graduation plans!

"The Temple University Communications Major is an interdisciplinary program that uniquely empowers students to explore, design, and implement a course of study in the field of communications that is specific to his or her interests and needs. As an interdisciplinary program, the Major gives a broad understanding of each department in the School of Communications and Theater"
