Broadacasting school: Howard Rice speaks to students

scholarships and Competitions

There are several scholarships, competitions and festivals available to BTMM majors. Many of these scholarships and more than thirty competitions and festivals are described on this page.

BTMM Scholarships Deadline is April 20, 2012

Each year the Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media
Department awards several scholarships that have been established
by alumni, faculty, and friends of the department to BTMM students.

If you are a BTMM student and your GPA is above 3.0, please
consider applying for a scholarship. Often, students don't apply because they think they have little chance of receiving an award, but since many people think this way, your chances are actually pretty good - but you must apply!

An application form is available at the bottom of this page, and at the BTMM office. This form makes it easy to apply. Check off the scholarship(s) for which you are applying and submit the form and supplementary materials to the BTMM office by the deadline.

The 2012 application deadline is April 20.

If you have questions, stop by the BTMM office in room 205 in Annenberg Hall, or contact the BTMM Chair, Dr. Patrick Murphy.
