Students choose one of four concentrations: Management, Advertising Research, Art Direction, and Copywriting. Course DescriptionsA list of most of the undergraduate courses offered in the Department of Advertising, including prerequisite requirements and notes. ManagementStudents who wish to pursue a career in account or brand management, or account executive positions should follow this course of study. Advertising ResearchStudents who wish to become an account planner, research executive or a market research interviewer should follow this course of study. Art DirectionStudents who hope to achieve a position as a designer or art director in an ad agency should pursue this course of study. CopywritingStudents who hope to make a career as a writer in the advertising industry should follow this course of study.
